Our Mission
The mission of Hills and Dales Training Center is:

to ensure the availability of programs, services and supports that assist eligible individuals with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities in choosing and achieving a life of increased capabilities;
to promote and facilitate the movement of individuals from segregated facility-based programs, such that they live and work in integrated natural settings within the community;
to support the families and caregivers of these individuals in achieving this objective.

 
 Goals
To assist eligible individuals in moving to a less restrictive living arrangement;
To assist eligible individuals in securing employment within the community;
To assist individuals in accessing generic community services;
To provide experiences that will enable individuals to make informed choices;
To work with local school districts in developing programs to enable students to participate in integrated settings;
To explore alternative methods of transportation for adults and students;
To educate the public about the needs and abilities of persons with MR/DD;
To promote and uphold the rights of persons with MR/DD.
