  Hills and Dales operates a fleet of buses and manages alternative transportation (taxi, transit, etc.) for individuals throughout Highland County.

  Adult and student riders, parents, motorists and bus drivers, all share in the responsibility of safe bus transportation. The implementation of both Driver Awareness and Bus assistant Awareness Programs has contributed to an excellent safety record.

  Transportation is responsible for maintaining vehicles in safe operating condition, scheduling and staffing bus routes and preparing bids for vehicle purchases. Transportation is proud of the fact that over the last several years, 100 % of all Highland County Board of MR/DD buses have passed the Ohio State Highway Patrol Inspection. For many years, Bus Drivers have participated in the participated in the Ohio Bus Road-E-O, consistently placing multiple times in the top 10.
